Netinha, como \u00e9 chamada carinhosamente, cresceu em Santo Amaro e hoje, aos 61 anos, mora no bairro do Janga, em Paulista, na Regi\u00e3o Metropolitana do Recife. Alcinete n\u00e3o\u00a0tem filhos de sangue, mas sempre ajudou todos da fam\u00edlia com o cuidado de uma m\u00e3e. <\/span>Desde crian\u00e7a, queria agarrar todas as oportunidades. A escola era sua segunda casa, e permaneceu sendo nos 39 anos em que trabalhou como professora. Durante toda a vida, muitos duvidaram do seu potencial.\u00a0Ela, nunca.<\/span><\/p>\n

Estava presente em tudo que a igreja proporcionava. Aos dez anos, fui a primeira menina do bairro a chegar no p\u00falpito e fazer a leitura da missa das crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n

De acordo com pesquisa realizada em 2018 pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estat\u00edsticas (IBGE), no Brasil, h\u00e1 cerca de 11,46 milh\u00f5es de analfabetos entre a popula\u00e7\u00e3o de quinze anos ou mais.\u00a0A popula\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0negra \u00e9 a que mais sofre com a dificuldade de concluir os ensinos Fundamental e M\u00e9dio na idade\u00a0certa.<\/span><\/p>\n

O programa de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o para Jovens e Adultos (EJA) \u00e9 um programa do governo federal para as pessoas que, por diferentes fatores, j\u00e1 passaram da idade escolar e n\u00e3o tiveram oportunidade de estudar. A maior parte desses alunos \u00e9 composta por homens e mulheres negras.<\/span><\/p>\n
