Mora com a m\u00e3e no bairro da Mangueira, Zona Oeste do Recife. Come\u00e7ou a alisar os cabelos aos 9 anos, por influ\u00eancia das vizinhas sobre a fam\u00edlia da menina. Manteve a pr\u00e1tica at\u00e9 os 20, quando sofreu o chamado <em>corte qu\u00edmico<\/em> (processo em que o cabelo quebra devido \u00e0 exposi\u00e7\u00e3o exagerada a produtos).
