Nessa \u00e9poca, os profissionais exerciam outros tipos de trabalhos e s\u00f3 aceitavam uma mulher trabalhar com cinema diante da vigil\u00e2ncia dos pais ou do marido. Portanto, ocuparem o lugar da dire\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o era algo prov\u00e1vel.
